Kish Lighthouse, Kish Bank.
The lighthouse was built in the Coal Harbour in Dún Laoghaire and was towed out to the Kish sandbank, about 11km off the coast, on 29 June 1965. The telescopic tower was then raised to its full height and has been shining ever since.
Beautifully produced A6 greetings card by illustrator Joe Hollingsworth, part of the Irish Landmarks Series. Designed and printed in Ireland.
